Finally, In lesson 12 we will look at teaching in 21st century. Many opportunities and challenges exists
as we prepare children to become " Ready To Learn'' in an ever changing society. Even though you will have a lot of responsibility as a teacher of young children, you will also have the pleasure of working with them and seeing them grow and develop.

Children are a joy to be with. Their enthusiasm is remarkable, And their joy of life. Your own experience and special talents, combine with the practical suggestions offered in your textbook, will make you a successful early childhood professional.

All of our students begin this program with a great deal of enthusiasm. It's exciting to set out on a new career path, especially one that will lead to employment in a dynamic, fast paced profession like child day care. The burst of initial energy can easily carry students through the first few lessons. By the fourth lesson, that excitement may die down a bit as you realized that learning is hard work, and that the end of the course appears to be along way down the road. If you are experiencing that reaction, or something like it don't worry . It's normal.

At this pivotal moment in your Professional child day care program, it's important to "keep your eyes on the goal." I hope you still have those words posted someplace where you can see them every day. Keeping the vision of your future career in mind will help you over tough spots. Let the dream of who and what you want to become motivate you to keep pushing forward. I'm giving you this "PEP TALK" now, because the material you are about to study in Lesson 4 can be challenging.
But your effort in the first three lessons has shown me that you can do it.

Best of luck in this rewarding and challenging career.

Now, Lets Get Statrted.

Best,
